Soho Street Shoot

Photo of Brandy Row - By Ki Price/Sohostreetshoots

Sohostreetshoots was born whilst enjoying a Flat White from www.flatwhitecafe.com  on Berwick St.

I'm a photographer & work with newspapers & a wire agency and mainly specialise news & portraits.

My aim was to find quirky interesting people around Soho and photograph them.

My kit was a Nikon D3s  http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond3s
 and a Nikon 24-70 F2.8.

For Lighting I used a Elinchrom Quadra's and a Deep Throat Octabox.

Stage 1

Meet Arnold -The Assistant
A very special person to work with and full of energy.

The props

Was a two stands and a backdrop with Lemons

The Backdrop was very kindly donated by this man Mr Borovick a third generation fabric shop on Berwick st, www.borovickfabricsltd.co.uk

Our first model was Dee Plume a singer in front of our new backdrop. The reason for the lemons was Berwick st is a well known market for fruit & Veg.

Feeling relieved that our set up was up & some test shots had happened it was time to get as much into the day as possible.

Our next model was Dave who's love for Vivienne Westwood

Our next model was Dave who has an obsessive love for Vivienne Westwood clothes and looks great.
The Octabox with the silver beauty dish attachment lit from the side gives a really nice contrasty light.
Below are bits & pieces from the rest of the day.
